From a young age the magic of photography had me hooked. I loved the world happening inside the viewfinder, that was out there but the way I saw it, was uniquely mine. I used to spend countless hours in my dad’s darkroom in our cellar diving into the fascinating world of film developing process.
During my philosophy studies I became a student photographer taking photographs of philosophers during talks and conferences, which trained my eye for capturing real and truthful portraits of people in their element. When I came to Ireland I got into National College of Arts and Design, graduating from MA Art in the Digital World, still inseparable from my camera.
But when my first daughter came into this world… the penny really dropped. I didn’t want to miss a moment and continuously photographed every smile, every moment, every stage of development in complete awe of the beauty in front of my lens and how quickly my baby changed. That time I knew that in a fast changing world, photographic legacy is a gift I can offer to other people.
I have over 10 years industry experience and have been regularly trained by the top photographers Amy McDaniel, Nicole Smith (USA), Emma Jane from Little Love Photography, Gary Hill, Paulina Duczman (UK), Adam Trzcionka, Damian Drewniak (Poland)
