1:1 Newborn Mentoring for Photographers

You’d love to photograph newborns but you have no confidence on handling and posing babies? You’ve watched millions of YouTube tutorials and online courses but still can’t get your poses right? You’d love to produce those dreamy, heart-melting images, but for some reason your photographs still look somewhat flat?
Book your mentoring today, and during a one day in-depth, hands on training you’ll learn everything you need to know to plan, style, pose and shoot a beautiful newborn newborn session. It will give you a plan on how to deal with an uncooperative baby and still produce images your clients will rave about.
That one day intense workshop day will save you hours of your life and give you confidence to create the most beautiful images for your portfolio. It is tailored to suit what exactly YOU want to learn. It can take place in my studio or in yours (travel fee applies for distances further than 40 km).

Basic day of training includes the following core elements:
newborn safety
how to set up for the shoot
soothing techniques
lighting and camera settings
camera angles
basic wrapping techniques
styling
beanbag posing
working with props
workflow
how to deal with an uncooperative baby
digital postproduction for beautiful results
I teach all skill levels from very beginner to advanced. Please let me know If you wish to add any specific poses or skills. Some of them might include potato sack, white window setup, parents posing, digital composites, business and marketing tips, in person sales ect.
Full day of training is from 10 am - 5 pm, including half an hour lunch break (lunch included).We'll start off practicing on a posing doll, and we will have a baby coming to practice with a real newborn baby photoshoot. Also included are pdf materials to revise your knowledge and access to my private Facebook support group where I am available to answer any questions.
